Europe is not the only place where people try to influence politics. Also organisations in Africa, Asia and Latin America aim at improving their lobby and advocacy activities. The BBO team carries out tailor-made training sessions and workshops. These programs vary from personal coaching to five-day workshops for groups. In our training we start from and build on the experience of our participants. The programs can be given in Dutch, French, English and Spanish.

 

Apart from the training programs above we are often asked to enlarge the capacities of organisations, also in the Netherlands. Lobby and advocacy heavily depend on good internal communication, support and exchange of information. When these factors are not well functioning this can reduce the effectiveness of lobby and advocacy. We give specific advise on how to make your organisation ready for the lobby process. Being on the outside we can more easily see the bottlenecks and offer practical solutions.
