Analysis on climate policyBBO has offered advice on lobby and advocacy activities for several climate campaigns. BBO interprets international and European policies on climate change. Professionalising advocacy activitiesBBO supports organisations to professionalize the advocacy capacities of their public affairs department. Colleagues from various levels of an organisation participate in a workshop to take their first steps towards a lobbying and advocacy plan. Efficient networkingBBO works with a number of networks aiming to influence the policy on international cooperation. BBO helps them to get insight into the actors with influence and advises on how to gain influence on the relevant stakeholders. In a workshop with network partners we make a stakeholdermapping and analyse their network. With this information in hand, BBO can give specific, tailor made advice on their advocacy strategy. |
Strengthening the international advocacy with national inputIn cooperation with a client, BBO is currently creating a method to develop, strengthen and monitor national and international advocacy activities to be able to influence the priorities in government policy in Senegal, Mali and Burkina Faso. Workshop decision making in the European UnionBBO makes political mappings of European Union policies on different themes like development aid on food security. BBO presents the results in a workshop and discusses the possibilities of advocacy for the client. A strategic advocacy advice towards the European UnionBBO works with European platforms of NGOs working with partners in the south. The platform’s members are from different member states of the European Union.
